We had a three part Christmas this year. We started off with a traditional Christmas Eve dinner at my parents consisted of green salad, orzu salad, personal flat bread pizza’s, vegetarian chili, barley soup and corn bread. Followed by dessert of Jason’s half eaten birthday cake. Can we say YUM?!
The next morning we rose early…at 8am. We had our traditional (for real this time) breakfast of egg souffle, potatoes and grandma’s homemade cinnamon rolls. Then we opened up our presents which consisted of sweaters, pants, books, a foam roller and our Peru tour paid for (we are going in May)!!!
Next stop the Walden’s. We got there fairly early and wanted to watch a Christmas movie. I chose Home Alone. Andy doesn’t think it’s a Christmas movie, but it takes place around Christmas time and there is Christmas music so I win. Plus Kevin looks like a little Andy so that’s fun!
After the movie every started showing up for dinner. This was a more traditional feast. There was pot roast, turkey, stuffing, salad, cranberry sauce, vegetables, etc. Once we were finished eating the chaos began.

Every year I am amazed at all the work Kathi does for each one of us. We’re talking 17 people here! All the shopping and wrapping is enough to exhaust even an Elf. But every year she manages to do it and pull it off.
Next stop, Napa. After a 3 1/2 hour drive we finally arrived at 1am.

The next morning we went on our wine tours. This definitely gives to the fact that the best things in the world are free, and the Jacuzzi winery (yes, they are the inventors of the jacuzzi) did not dissapoint. Their wine was the best, and we got some free Olive Oil samples as well. The other wineries were nothing to write home about. One had some exotic birds, which were cool, but we were ready to go at the end of the day.
The night ended up at the hotel bar with Tyler serving us Lagunita IPAs. We then went bowling, which was fun. Chad beat us all with a 130 pin showing. And then we went back to the hotel to play some board games.
The next morning we checked out Erron and Alexya’s house. And then traveled home to prep for the New Year to come.
