Year #6. Another $1MM in sales. And we’ve had quite a journey. And so much more to do!:

A Winter’s Charm 
The team built out an amazing “Hallmark classic” to highlight the beauty of Carson City, amongst a classic love story. The projects got some wonderful PR that still shines through after the launch.
Nevada Humane Society Launch
It’s one thing to be connected to such a purposeful and wonderful brand. It’s another thing to be behind the brand, which we just launched. Great clients with a great purpose. (My daughter even made me donate some money to support their cause.)
Reno is connected
We had this great company who came from a wonderful referral. Well, come to find out as we were chatting he was the neighbor right across the street. His wife and my sister were (and still are) close friends. And now we’re doing some work together. “You want to meet?” “Yeah, you want me to just cross the street?”
Travels 
I had a few different traveling adventures this year:

  • I traveled to Tahoe for the Rural Roundup and then Las Vegas for the Governor’s Conference.
  • I landed in Las Vegas a few times – once in the fall and twice in the same month. Three times if you include vacation.
  • We had agency tours in San Francisco again, which we visited Argonauts, Goodby Silverstein, Mucho, and a few museums.
  • And a variety of local visits in the region from RTT, Edawn, NNN, NCET, AMA, and others.
Giving Back to Our Community
We continue to push ourselves. The Discovery board is great with its makeup and step into the future. The AMA has a lot of great people associated with it. I’m also working to support our clients on their fundraisers and other needs. This includes the Boys and Girls Club, CRCCS, Children’s Cabinet, Make-A-Wish, RTAA, Donor Network West, and many others. In addition, I’ve started to work to get KPS3 certified as a B Corp. We’ll see how this goes.

Honorable mention: We launched a social media guide this year too. We worked to build it out, which has some great tips to download and use as needed.
