Overall, this year was very successful. We were part of some amazing projects which is always the best thing to brag about at the end of the year. However, an internal goal for me was to help manage over $1 Million in project revenue which was surpassed.

Working with Autodesk, we launched an incredible blog focused towards helping small businesses. The content covers a wide range of topics from 3d design to strategic marketing to tactical accounting. It’s a great resource and has compelling content. We’ve also been able to work with the team to conduct A/B testing on the site and developed a newsletter. There’s also some compelling marketing strategies that will lead us forward into the new year.
 360 Autodesk 360 Innovates
While not fully launched yet, this project mixes technology with inspiration. This site is in its first full phase which was my first parallax site that we built to help tell the the story around the technology. Autodesk has some exciting stuff coming down the corner, so it will be great to see how this story grows and how we help build intrigue around the product.
 uc University of California
A large majority of the year we have been working with UC on their parent’s site. Due to some delays, the site isn’t public just yet, but is geared towards an early Q1 launch. I’m really excited to see both team’s work come to fruition with the new launch.
 blite Autodesk Biolite
The work we did wasn’t amazing. But, the work it was related to was. We built an interactive lightweight app which discussed the project that lived on an iPad app shown in the Autodesk Gallery. Here’s the project though:
In Africa, men lead the household. Women cook. Women though cook with anything they can find to burn – tires, dung, etc. They inhale these fumes which gets them sick and unfortunately could end in death.Whether not enough money or ignorance, men won’t change this lifestyle. Women provide food, and men constantly travel back and forth to the larger city to find electricity to charge their cell phones. This can be about a 20-30 mile trek to get to the city for a charge.Biolite’s ingenious idea is building a stove that removes these toxic fumes, allowing the woman to live a healthier lifestyle. The stove though also carries a USB charger for the man to charge his phone, showing the value of why they also should switch out their stoves and change their way of life.
 wp Wikipedia
This project was more or less a passion client to work with. We had worked with them on the mobile user experience for their micro-contributions. This allows editors to easily improve small sections of article content. Wikipedia flags articles where certain linked references may mean multiple things. For example, if an article reference the term “mercury”, a person can quickly link that term to the correct reference (planet, element, etc.). This is easy for a human to do, but not necessarily a machine.
Also, I was able to visit the Wikipedia HQ in San Francisco which was nice.
 bigdata Big Data Global Analytics
I did have to add this last piece since it was a large portion of my year. With a large company known mainly for its Credit Score technology, we delivered a full-fledged campaign. This touched strategy, website, social, SEO, Display Ads, Google Adwords/Bing CPC, email, and retargeting landing pages. This was a holistic strategy that has had some pretty incredible success. We also not only launched this to be initially released in the United States, and then rolled out to the world.
