Cheers to a memorable 2010. Here’s the highlights of the past 365 days.
1. The Middle East and New York Pyramids, religious shrines, roman ruins, Islamic temples, Greek columns, Arabic wonders, the Dead Sea – we saw so much within two weeks. And that doesn’t include New York with the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, and Wall Street. A great experience indeed. |

2. Exploring the Inca Trail The Incas are truly an amazing culture. It was a great experience to hike the trails, survive Dead Women’s Pass and explore the very well restored ruins of Machu Picchu. Plus the Andes are something everyone should be able to explore for themselves. |

3. Pavers Early in the year we started and finished paving our courtyard. The entire project took me four to five months, as we had many bumps in the road: drainage, sewage pipe issues, and design disagreements. But… we finally now can enjoy the hard work. |

4. One full year at One to One Interactive Work life has definitely changed for me this year. We moved into a downtown office. We deal with more national clients rather than local, which has been a dramatic change. And there’s been more focus of my job to email marketing, mobile application design, and desktop widgets. Also, noting a few steps back, Rob left for greener pastures a few months ago as well. We’ll see where 2011 brings us! |

5. Half Marathons and Drink Marathons This year included a few half marathons for me: Bidwell, Reno, South Reno, and Taylor Trail. Bridget has been on the Disabled List with a knee issue for 9 months now. (She fell over when pushing through Bidwell, and we still are shrugging our shoulders.) On a lighter note, I was able to enjoy some good times at Erron’s bachelor party in Catalina and Boly’s bachelor party in San Diego. Congrats to both of them. |
So what will 2011 hold? Hopefully a lot of good things, but here’s my prediction:
1. Landscaping: We probably will continue with our landscaping projects. Maybe we’ll put up a retainer wall or maybe a fence.
2. Training Galore: Ron signed up for an Iron Man in November. Bridget and I might be on the hook to help him with the run.
3. Digitazation: My hope is that we’ll be able to sync all of our CD’s, Pictures, and DVD’s into digital copies to easily access.
4. Travel: We aren’t planning on any major trips. But, we’ll hopefully be taking a lot of weekend trips and maybe a planned visit to the East Coast next fall.
5. Work: I’m sure I’ll have some great projects to talk about this year, and I know Bridget will as well.
